Ghost Ship: A River with No End

A River with No End by Ghost Ship

Ghost Ship is a roots-rock band that writes music about Jesus, and their name comes from believers being vessels of the Holy Spirit (Ghost). They lead the worship gatherings at Mars Hill Downtown Seattle and have also been playing benefit shows at clubs in Seattle to raise money to fight sex-trafficking in the city. Ghost Ship is led by Cam Huxford who is the Worship Director at Mars Hill Downtown. He moved to Seattle from Georgia four years ago with two goals: use music to point to Jesus and call people to respond to Jesus.

A River with No End is Ghost Ship's first EP, and on it they use banjos, dobros, pedal steels, and anything else they can get their hands on to create a rootsy-Americana texture. The EP opens powerfully proclaiming, "There is one God over all kings and rulers and he reigns alone." From there, the songs continue to exalt Jesus as our king and savior today while looking also to the future when every tear will be wiped away and death will be no more. Watch a video below from Cam telling the story behind one of the songs, "The Revelation of Jesus Christ."
